Adrian’s practice, oil painting that favours atmosphere over narrative, centres on imagination as the most dominant and transformative aspect of the psyche, and the concept of the imaginal world, as a tangible, intermediary landscape of reality. He’s drawn to imagery of the fantastical and mythological as metaphorical expressions of deep psychological drives, fears, and desires, the figures in his work staging encounters between the opposing forces of mastery and vulnerability.

Adrian graduated in 2026 from Camberwell College of Arts (MA Fine Art: Painting). He also has a BA in Film Studies.
