bella bacon

Bella’s paintings are introspective musings on connection with the self, others, and the natural world. The element of closeness in these relationships weaves through her works, as the small scale of the works physically draws in the viewer and has them feeling almost voyeuristic by the intimacy of the moments she paints. Her focus on touch as a primary mode of emotional experience is partially informed by a past interest in computer programming. This, while a world of endless potential, still fundamentally unable to accommodate the physical needs core to the human condition.

Bella graduated from Camberwell College of Arts (BA Fine Art: Painting) in 2026.
