Lara’s fragmented figurative paintings are situated between personal reflection and collective memory, tender depictions of family and friends that convey the universality of emotion and intimacy. Her layering and collage, of figures rendered in detail but often floating on waspish backgrounds, combine memories and moments into singular scenes with a dreamlike uncanniness.

Lara graduated in 2026 from Camberwell College of Arts (BA Fine Art Painting).
